Hagen is also called the gateway to the Sauerland. This is especially evident from the pure nature in and around Hagen. 41% of Hagen’s urban area is forested. This makes Hagen one of the greenest cities in North Rhine-Westphalia. One of the most famous recreational areas are the Hengstey and Harkort lakes. Hagen has four major rivers: the Ruhr, the Volme, the Lenne and the Ennepe.

The proximity of the highway lets you get anywhere quickly and easily. Local transportation is also well organized, so you and your customers can move freely by bus within the city area. The S-Bahn connections are also well developed and so the entire Ruhr area can be reached or explored quickly.
